Stuart Collins - Partner, Assurance & Advisory, BDO LLP
Stuart specialises in providing assurance and advisory services to growing businesses, with over twenty years' experience in practice. In addition to his audit expertise, he is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. His clients range from privately owned entrepreneurial businesses through to multi-national listed companies. Stuart is particularly experienced in the hotel and leisure sector, where he has worked with several luxury and other hotel groups, premier league football clubs, sports and golf clubs. In addition to his hotels specialism, Stuart also has worked with many businesses in the general property and real estate sector. Many of his clients are complex corporate groups, often with international operations.Stuart became a partner in BDO following the merger between PKF (UK) LLP and BDO LLP in March 2013.
Justyn Herbert - Financial Controller, Luxury Hotel Partners
An established hotel financial controller, Justyn started with Luxury Hotel Partners in 2007. After studying hotel management at Westminster Catering College, he gained experience, both in operations and finance, in several hotels including, The Savoy, The Ritz, The Stafford, Dukes Hotel, The Chesterfield Hotel and the London Bridge Hotel. Justyn also has experience in running hotels, pubs and nursing/residential homes in LPA receivership, during his employment with Venners Plc
In 2002, Justyn won the BAHA Hospitality Accountant of the Year, and in 2005, Justyn also won the BAHA Small Independent Employer of the Year.
Prof. Peter Jones MBE - Director, Wentworth Jones
Professor Emeritus and specialist in strategic management in hospitality and food service with international experience in Europe, China and Australia in a range of senior education management posts. Expertise in developing operational and educational projects having recently completed the role of the Project Director for the unique multi-million pound Edge Hotel School. A new concept in hospitality higher education, where the degree programmes are based on 'learning through doing' in a fully operational country house hotel.
He is involved in a number of national and international projects and clients involved in hospitality education and is a Director of Hotel Future.
Rob Maloney - Director, Kerry Robert Associates
As Membership Officer of HOSPA, Rob is actively involved in promoting best practice in finance and accounting, revenue management and IT and enhancing career development through educational programmes. Rob is also responsible for organising the HOSPA regional events calendar for members meetings being held in the Midlands, North of England, and Scotland.
Bob Silk - Relationship Director, Hospitality & Leisure Team, Barclays
Bob Silk joined Barclays in 1979 and has spent the last 26 years in front line corporate banking roles.
Since 1997 he has specialised in the hotel, restaurant and licensed trade sectors, and has considerable experience in arranging funding for mergers & acquisitions and also development funding for both listed and unlisted multi-site operators.
Chris Upton - Chairman, HOSPA. Managing Director, CU Associates
Chris is a chartered accountant and has worked in senior financial positions in the hospitality sector for 20 years. He co-founded Snoozebox and has been finance director of a number of pubs and restaurant groups. He was finance director of Arcadian International plc for seven years during which time they started the Malmaison group and redeveloped the Great Eastern Hotel in the City. Before that he held senior positions in finance and IT at a number of commodity trading companies.

Michael Heyward is the principal of the consulting business, Heyward Hospitality Solutions delivering business process improvement and profit optimisation for the hospitality industry. A Hospitality Lecturer at Glion Institute of Higher Education (London) and Chairman of the HOSPA Revenue Management Committee. Michael has over 25 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry, in revenue management, hotel operations and corporate roles. This includes independent hotels, IHG and Accor, from 3 to 5 star across Europe, Asia and the Pacific. With a proven track record for delivering market out performance in revenue and developing teams of highly skilled, diverse, competitive people.
Jane Pendlebury, CEO, HOSPA
Jane Pendlebury is a successful and well known personality within the worldwide hospitality arena, her career to date has been dedicated to hospitality. Ambition and enthusiasm have resulted in high achievements and recognition in the field. Jane ran the Membership and Events office for HOSPA from 2014-2016. Her involvment in HOSPA (previously BAHA) started over six years ago and in that time has been a regular HOSPA Member and a Corporate Gold Sponsor. Jane has been part of the operations team for HOSPACE since 2012.
