HOSPA welcomes Wifirst

HOSPA is thrilled to welcome Wifirst as a Gold sponsor.

Wifirst provides fully-managed WiFi as a Service, increasing guest satisfaction and giving clients the benefit of financial peace of mind with no capital outlay and low monthly cost.

Wifirst has clients across the UK and Europe, including Louvre Hotels Group and The Ascott Limited.

At Louvre Hotels Group, Wifirst provides Fibre Leased lines and WiFi as a Service to 17 hotels throughout the UK.

By choosing Wifirst, Louvre Hotels Group intends to raise the level of service on the connectivity aspect and in doing so, strengthen the bond with its customers through an improved digital experience.

Campanile Dartford initially put their trust in Wifirst to replace a WiFi and WAN network that had low wireless signal levels and was consequently impacting guest reviews. The combination of cost-saving increased service and support levels resulted in Wifirst being awarded the contract for all remaining properties in their UK portfolio, bringing the total under Wifirst management to 18.

Simon Rowely, Louvre Hotels Group - Group Finance Manager, said: “From the moment the solution provided by Wifirst went live in our first few properties, we knew we had made the right decision. The team were fantastic in helping us to choose the right solution at the right price, and the WiFi service we now have in our hotels is extremely reliable and very fast. It all just works, and it works very well. I would highly recommend Wifirst as a partner to anyone that is looking to update their WiFi or data line services.”

A high-speed, secure internet connection is vital today, both for business and leisure travellers. As 85% of hotel guests carry two or more devices with them when travelling, a high level of service is required to suit their needs, which generally speaking, is heavily focused on video streaming services. With a full understanding of the important role played by connectivity, Wifirst is the essential partner for hotel digital transformation projects. With two decades of experience, they help to ensure the right solution is delivered, providing high-speed WiFi and fibre services, accessible wherever needed, alongside innovative services designed for the connected hotel of tomorrow.

At The Ascott Limited, Wifirst supports The Crest Collection and Citadines brands in Europe in the area of digital connectivity. The Ascott Limited is one of the leading international owner-operators of serviced apartments. The company is committed to the continuous modernisation of its properties and has chosen Wifirst, the leading WiFi as a Service provider, to deliver a connectivity base for its residences.

The Wifirst solution is now in use across all of the group’s European properties guaranteeing free super high-speed WiFi that guests can access from everywhere in their rooms, suites, apartments and all of its communal spaces. This means that Wifirst is now supplying WiFi coverage to more than 5,000 apartments and rooms in 41 apart-hotels which are all connected using fibre technology. These include prestigious hotels like The Cavendish London, La Clef Tour Eiffel Paris and La Clef Louvre Paris.

Guillaume Renaudin, IT Director Europe of The Ascott Limited, said: “We were impressed by Wifirst’s solution, which offers our properties a solid technical foundation on which to base all of their digital services. Wifirst doesn’t just provide WiFi access for our guests, it also allows our staff to log on to a dedicated WiFi network completely securely”.
