Independent Hotel Show presented by James Hallam, taking place on 4-5 October at Olympia London, will be offering its audience of hoteliers the chance to receive a free one-on-one consultation from a hospitality technology professional.
The Tech Solutions Bar, in partnership with HOSPA, will give the show’s audience of boutique and independent hotel owners and operators the opportunity to benefit from bespoke, objective advice on the hospitality tech that could work for their business. The tech solutions on offer to hoteliers can sometimes feel overwhelming, and a lot of expense for little reward, so the team of HOSPA consultants will be on hand to demystify the options available.
Hospitality tech is a keen area of interest for many visitors to the Independent Hotel Show, and this year’s event will have a range of tools and services designed to streamline processes and improve customer experience, covering everything from PoS products to marketing platforms to data gathering and customer insight tools.
Jane Pendlebury, CEO of HOSPA, comments: “The Tech Solutions Bar provides a great opportunity for hoteliers to ask quick questions, get some great advice and network with other hoteliers who are facing similar tech issues. Access to this sort of expertise usually comes with a price tag, so to be able to tap into it for free at the show is a wonderful opportunity.
“Attendees will benefit from the far-reaching knowledge of HOSPA’s consultant network, with a whole host of experts in the same place at the same time. Please do pay the bar a visit if you want to learn how technology can help you overcome all sorts of hospitality challenges.”
The hospitality tech consultants at the event include Ali Powell, CEO and Founder of Commercial Acceleration, Jutta Moore, Director of Moore Hotel Consulting and Penn Chai, Digital Operations Lead at Heyward Group.
Independent Hotel Show Event Director Elena Attanasio adds: “Independent hoteliers have to weigh investments into new technology very carefully. Not only is it a financial decision but it can often mean a level of disruption to the business as new processes are implemented and staff training takes place.
“Technology was one of the key areas of interest for hoteliers at our 2019 event and we’re happy to be able to offer this free consultancy service for hoteliers in addition to showcasing a wide range of hospitality technology products and services. We’re excited to be working with HOSPA to bring this new addition to Independent Hotel Show 2021.”
